Comments:
L'un des premiers colons de l'Ile de Shippagan. Il était originaire de l'I.P.E., avait été exporté en Bretagne.
À St-Servan, près de St-Malo, France, il épousa Félicité. Il est revenu à Bonaventure sur une goélette de la compagnie Robin, en même temps que la famille Bourg (mai 1774) et 80 autres réfugiés acadiens de Bretagne.
Partira de Bonaventure pour Shippagan en 1790. C'est alors qu'il laissa son nom au Village Robichaud. Serait un des premiers colons sur l'Ile de Lamèque avec Jean-Chrysostome Chiasson, venant lui aussi de IPE.
