Comments:
Some sources show birthYEAR in 1646. Death after 1714 in Port Royal. Jean Roy dit La Liberte dit Le Neigre Roy arrived in Acadia in 1671 and was listed at Cap Sable on the 1686 census as Laliberte.
Transported to Massachusetts in 1755, this family was first sent to Billerica and then to Dunstable and Kittery (now in Maine), before being repatriated to Québec about 1766
